Developed under the Mediterranea label, this experimental touristic city has an agricultural-climatic vocation and will be built on more than 1200 hectares of land in Morocco, near Marrakech.

The city will have among other things:

•100% ecological interior and exterior aquatic basins

•Museum of therapeutic and positive art

•Initiation to alternative techniques of energy production

•Alternative cinema generator of positive thinking for adults and children

The city will be fully assimilated into the Moroccan landscape thanks to its typical berbere architecture with Nubian influences.

ATLAS will catalyze transmediterranean partnership and create a bridge between the muslim-berbere world, western and southern Europe, and sub-Saharan Africa.

Dans l’histoire de l’humanité, toutes les civilisations ont toujours recherché la conception de cités parfaites, lumineuses, bien gouvernées, modèles. La littérature du genre utopique le décrit très bien. Ces cités ont un fort pouvoir de rayonnement. Elles marquent les esprits car elles touchent l’imaginaire. Platon en faisait également allusion dans son récit : « La cité ».

Les cités du Papillon Source ne font pas dérogation à cette philosophie. Le projet comportera plusieurs sous-labels en fonction des différentes régions d’accueil des cités. Le premier label développé est le label Méditerranée avec des centres en France et au Maroc.

Celles-ci auront deux types de vocation : agro-climatique ou éducatives et touristiques.

Des cités transcontinentales, décentralisées et interconnectées 

Nos cités seront présentes sur les cinq continents, fédérant chercheurs, enseignants et curieux poursuivant l’objectif commun d’une société durable et positive.

Véritables incubateurs de projets transformateurs et multidisciplinaires, elles seront conçues et gérées par la communauté internationale.

Propices au tourisme scientifique, éducatif et d’affaires, elles seront un havre pour les amoureux du savoir, de la recherche et du partage intellectuel.

Cités du Renouveau

Les cités du Papillon Source transcendent les frontières et les barrières humaines pour rassembler et souder. Elles seront initiatrices d’un retour aux sources à travers des pratiques responsables comme la naturothérapie, la permaculture ou des pratiques de bien être comme la méditation.

Cités vitrines de demain

Ludiques et accessibles à tous et dans toutes les langues, nos cités se démarqueront également par leur constante liaison et communication.

Catalyseurs de la diplomatie scientifique et sociétale, ces cités deviendront ultimement vectrices d’une paix durable et productive pour notre planète grâce à leur énergie de partage.

Le Maroc, point de départ

Le projet du Papillon Source a été porté en 2017 devant Sa Majesté Mohammed VI du Maroc, et en 2016 à l’écrivain environnementaliste Pierre RABHI de passage sur ces terres nord-africaines. Le pays accueillera un centre de pilotage pour les cités durables, nommé ATLAS d’après le fameux massif montagneux dominant cette contrée.
